1 Month to go!

Wow! I can't believe I will be heading to Africa in a month! I am excited and nervous! Seeing that I have never been out of the country before and NEVER been away from Ella (my 3 year old) for more than a few days at a time....its gonna be hard :( BUT this will be an experience of a lifetime and I am so thankful to be able to participate in such a wonderful mission! My goal as of right now is to focus on Ella and myself. Trying to keep myself healthy and get into a little bit better shape so that I may be my best when in Africa. I am prepping and putting together last minute details for my Art for Africa fundraiser on Friday night. I am so nervous! I hope lots of people come out and support Alliance for Smiles! Its going to be really fun! I can't wait! Along with the fundraiser, I also have work!! Whewwww... in order for me to leave for over 2 weeks from work, I have to get all of my paperwork and other things taken care of before I leave....so needless to say I have been keeping myself very busy! March, April, and May are the busiest months for us pre-K special needs teachers!!! Well, I'm off to work! If you are in the Brunswick/St.Simons area, stop by Friday night- Color Me Happy pottery studio, downtown Brunswick, from 5:30-8:30! Its going to be a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!
